About the race

Open to all runners aged 17 years and over, it is organised by the Police as a public event for fun runners and club athletes alike. The 2011 race saw the highest number of entries (331 finishers) in the eight years of the race. The mens course record is 30:13 by Dewi Griffiths of Swansea Harriers. The female course record is 34:52 by Andrea Whitcombe of Swansea Harriers, both set in the 2011 race.
